Hematology

Is the branch of internal medicine, physiology, pathology, clinical laboratory work, and pediatrics that is concerned with the study of blood, the blood-forming organs, and blood diseases. The formation of blood cells occurs as a result of a series of changes.
The behavior of stem cells is made up of multipotent cells that have the ability to give rise to all blood cell lines and also to self-renew, resulting daughter cells identical to themselves.
You can find different types of cells:
1. Red blood cell involved in the transport of oxygen to tissues
2. White blood cells are defenses against infections
3. Platelets play an important role in coagulation
All blood cells originate in or manufactured in the bone marrow, from where they pass into the bloodstream.
